Defeated and captured by Ar-Pharazon. I really hate Ar-Pharazon. Such a fool. The last king decided to show his power and to make Sauron his own prisoner. Sauron may have golden chains on his arms. But he knows the end of Numenor is near.
Your design for Sauron and his armor is really neat, very ornate and pompous like I think it would be! Great job! Also I agree with your sentiments about Ar-Pharazon. I have no sympathy for that guy at all.
This is really great! the colors and forms capture the wicked, regal mood of the character and setting very well, and i like those blinged-out chains, as if, though chained up, sauron is already running the show. (The Akallabeth is some of my favorite of all tolkien's writing, I love that sauron undoes the might of numenor by trickery and persuasion instead of orc armies, it's more subtle and in it's own way more evil)
Wow, thanks! I'm so happy, that people see character I really tried to show. I also enjoyed this part. How smartly prisoner from first second sees weakness of mortals. Realtionship between Ar-Pharazon and Sauron are my weird kind of kink. Let me explain, I also enjoy Wh40k. It's epic, but heresy always starts from one person and weak ones near him. Same thing with Sauron.
P.s. your artworks are fantastic. I'm just amateur and it's surprising, that you liked my work
Yeah, agreed about the kink. sauron's conversion of Ar-pharazon really is a careful and deliberate seduction. I think that's what I like most about this piece, the way you portray sauron's look and expression as a seducer/seductress (I always thought of him as, when he wants to be, a largely androgynous being)
Great piece, like I said it just 'catches' the character and mood. Glad to hear you like my work aswell, I post pretty regularly, so stay tuned if you like.
